At a time Tom was alarmed to find himself on the hit list of Charles Manson, the crazed murderer whose followers had killed actress Sharon Tate, her unborn baby and some friends at their house. A girl (in Manson's 'family') was assigned to come to one of Tom's concerts, make it her business to get close to him, and kill him while giving him one. To be specific, Manson's plan was for the girl to slit Tom's throat with a razor during sex.....
